Christmas break

Hi all. I know I haven't been posting on this or my other blogs, but I'm officially taking a Christmas break and I hope to be back in 2017! I'm not as inspired to post as much anymore. but I really want to post more, so we'll see what happens next year! If I do happen to post this year..then I will.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Hey all! What's up? Happy Thanksgiving! There is a lot to be thankful for this year. I mean, there is a lot every year :)

This year I turned 16, it's a milestone birthday. I kinda feel like that's something to be thankful for. I know it's gonna be hard to get through the next few years what with anxiety and depression and such, but I've made it this far, I know I can go farther.

I also got my first job! I've been working for a few months now, I'm so thankful that I got it, I'd been waiting so long.

I'm thankful of course for my family, and everything God has given me.

Ack! I've been slacking off on my posts! Sorry! Okay let's get caught up!

Day 13- Which Hogwarts house do you belong to?
RAVENCLAW!!!! I'm a ravenclaw and proud to be one. Anybody else out there that's a ravenclaw?

Day 14- What would you do if you had an invisibility cloak?
Hmm..That would mean telling my deepest darkest secrets...just teasing :) (or am I? XD) Not sure, I'm not the "break the rules" kinda person, so not anything bad really...maybe I'd go outside at night and sit and listen to the animals, or sneak and get nutella or watch Netflix or something :)

Day 15- Have you ever named a pet/something after something Harry Potter related? If so, What? If not, would you?
Well I wanted to get a big huge black dog and name it Sirius. But I can't remember if I named something specifically Harry Potter related.


Day 16- Favorite fan art/fan fic/ fan something?
Oh oh, that's hard to choose...Um well for starters, Here is some fan art from pinterest of how I imagined Sirius Black to look like (all credits to whoever made this! This is not my image, it belongs to the owner and creator of this)

And then I also love how some people re-imagined them as anime characters and I LOVED that of course, but there is too much of that fan art for me to choose :) just search it on the internet and I'm sure you'll find it :)

The Hogwarts one..and obviously the Gryffindor one, they always win :)


Day 18- You're an animagus- What animal do you turn into? Why?
A wolf, they are strong, fast, agile and just wonderful :)

Well, my Patronus is a grey squirrel actually :)

I have a black Hogwarts shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and it shows the Hogwarts crest in gold.

25 Day Harry Potter Challenge!

Hey all! What's up? I'm so so so so super duper excited for Halloween! Have any of you figured out your costumes yet? What are you gonna be? I'm probably going to be a care bear but I'm not sure which one. The reason that I'll probably be a care bear is because I LOVED those when I was younger.
anyways! I got off topic didn't I?
So I found this 25 day harry potter challenge and you know me..I'm CRAZY about harry potter. So I'm gonna do it! This challenge is 25 days though, instead of the usual 30-31 day challenge. So I thought that since it's October and it's 25 days in the challenge I could do the challenge til it leads up to my birthday which is the 26th. So yeah. anyways I missed like nine days of it so today I catch up!

Movie review: Storks

Hey all! I'm so glad it's autumn (or at least officially), I just wish it would cool down.
Today I went with my dad and my younger siblings to see the new movie; Storks! So Here goes!

Here is it's summary:
Storks deliver babies -- or at least they used to. Now, they deliver packages for a global internet retail giant. Junior (Andy Samberg), the company's top delivery stork, lands in hot water when the Baby Factory produces an adorable but wholly unauthorized girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble, Junior and his friend Tulip (Katie Crown), the only human on Stork Mountain, race against time to make their first baby drop before the boss (Kelsey Grammer) finds out.

Okay. It was a pretty adorable movie. And definitely kid friendly in my opinion (but that just me :). 
I loved the animation. so cute, bright and colorful. And I think the animator's had a lot of fun making the characters, especially the babies. Because a lot of the babies had like green, purple, pink and fun colors like that for their hair and I just loved that. 

Anywho. Not much to say about it, It's so cute to the point where you wouldn't have to say much about it. 
But yeah.  

So. I loved this movie, very cute, adorable, and sweet. A great family movie.


BTW- I never got to review zootopia, kung fu panda 3 and secret life of pets.
Zootopia-
IT WAS SO ADORABLE!!! I'm so disappointed I never got to see it in theaters! :( It was so so so cute and awesome! :)

Secret life of pets-
Not a fan really, I didn't hate it but I did not love it at all. It was basically that animal movie where they get lost and have to find their way home again.

Kung fu panda 3-
No no no no no no no. Just NO. Not a fan at all. I'm sorry but I hated it.

Also! I"M SO SUPER DUPER EXCITED ABOUT DISNEY'S MOANA MOVIE!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR AUTUMN!!!

Hey all! I haven't been posting for a long time! But Here I am back from the dead.
So what has been happening since I was last here?
1. we had a slightly busy summer, this is the first summer that my mom let us have the summer off from school
2. I got a pinterest account so yeah..love it so much!
3. lots of personal stuff...
Anyways! It's September! So it's time for autumn!!!! I'm so happy and excited, it's slowly starting to get cooler..And soon I can get the hoodies and the beanies out. During this time in about a few weeks I start reading Harry potter because when I first read it, it was September and so you know, it's now a tradition!
Also I SUPER DUPER EXCITED FOR HALLOWEEN!

Etsy prototypes + ahsoka hoodie review

Hello! Here are some prototype ideas for my etsy shop! My Kanani doll is modeling them for me :) (Note: this is old  clothing that I'm upcycling :)
First up is this top, it is pale pink, has ribbons to keep it on, and on the bottom is a Hello Kitty tag.
Then there are hot pink shorts.

Here she is again with the same shirt but with an upcycled hot pink Hello Kitty mini skirt with a Hello Kitty decal, that I made into a doll skirt.

Here she is with an aqua blue cotton tank, and an upcycled sky blue skirt with patterns on it.

You could also pull the shirt up for a crop top :)

Here are some upcycled jeans with some embroidery on them that I made into doll jeans.

Here is a pair of doll sized purple sweatpants.

This is all the items together, what do you think? I mean I'm still working on other stuff for the shop but here are some AG doll clothes.


Next up is my short Ahsoka Tano hoodie review! Yay! So this came a week after I ordered it which was awesome :) Here is the Hunic's front side, which has her whole top part of her outfit :)

Here is the back side of the Hunic which is just as detailed as the front :) It even has her padawan bead things that hang on her lekku. And one of them was printed to look like it was ripped off, just like in the show :)

On the sleeves you have the option to wear it like a sleeve or like finger-less gloves like Ahsoka does :)

From a scale of one to ten (sounds like Baymax) how would I rate this item? Um..9.5, why? Because of some of the design being kinda printed on there, I'm sure that after weeks or a few months of wear might scratch it off, and I'm not sure how long it will fit me, it fits me fine right now but let's say next autumn or in two years I may not fit it then, so I will enjoy it while I can!
If you're looking for a super cool Ahsoka tano hoodie for a costume or just an everyday hoodie, you should really look into getting one of these, I got mine at like 20-30% off which was great :) My younger sister got one too!

No I don't wear makeup. Why not? Because I do not have enough time and I'm too lazy to put it on :) Also I think people should love you how you look whether you wear makeup or not. :D

In Japan or something, learning Parkour :)

Um..Aqua, hot pink, white and black :)

Play outside all day, I barely go out but I'm trying to break that habit. But until about 3 years ago, My sister and I Played outside every single day, from about 7:00am to about 6:00pm. So yeah those were the days :)

7. What is one food that sounds disgusting, but you would try it?

I'm not sure, but my dad made soup out of a cow's stomach one time, It was super chewy but great if you had the cold, I was among the very few that would try it and like it :)

8. Do you travel a lot? If so, where are some of the places you've been?

My family and I used to, we were missionaries then we stopped and I haven't been out of the state in a few years :) But Tennessee, Florida, and North Carolina were my favs. (I spent the first half of my life In NC :)

Hmm..I either watch Pokemon, The Office (USA version), or Star wars rebels :)

10. Do you know what "fangirling" is? If so, explain what it is in your own words.

Yes, yes I do. Fangirling is where you become so in love with a book, film, or story and you just sort of become a part of that, My sister and I fangirl ALL THE TIME! Whether it be Pokemon, Star wars, FMA, Or another anime we watch :)

11. What is the most pleasant smell according to yourself?

Burning wood, Pine trees, the smell of Christmas wrapping paper, the smell of a new catalog and other things :)

BTW-the star wars ahsoka tano hoodies/tunics (hunics) came in the mail last week so hopefully I can post some pics of them :) they are super comfy! And adorable! My younger sister and I both got one.

Hey all! yesterday I decided to start making items to sell on etsy! Yay!!! Anyways, soon I'll have some prototypes on here to show you what type of stuff I'll be selling, so yeah, I'm kinda excited about it..YAY!!

I actually have 3 of my own blogs, and two other ones I share with other bloggers but we haven't done blogging on both of those in a long time.
This is actually my second blog, my first blog addysartworld.blogspot.com is my art blog, and this one is just for everyday stuff, my third blog dollytoncity.blogspot.com is my doll, figure, and toy blog.
Anyways! Back to the story about this blog.
After I'd made my first blog, I think the year was..2014 yeah, August 7th. I wanted to post more than my drawings, so my older sister set this one up for me, and that night was super rainy and stormy, I thought we'd crash the computer :) anyways..I know some people use pseudonyms (creating a different name for yourself so that your identity isn't stolen or something) But that's not the case here, My name is Adelaide (or Addy) and it always has been :)
So yeah not much of a big story :) Here are some tips; (I hope they help you :)

-You honestly cannot expect to get a billion followers or even a large handful (or a small handful) I've had this blog for only a year and about 7 months, And I only have 3 followers :) Basically it depends, I've heard a lot of bloggers say that you have to blog for the fun of it and it is so so true, it's like a public journal basically. Don't rely on the page views or followers to make your blog famous. Just enjoy it! It's fun!

-comment comment! People love comments (positive ones) it makes them happy, and sometimes it really just makes their day! (It makes my day! :) But try not to advertise in a comment like "Hey check out my blog!" It's like you don't care for the blog, like you didn't even read the post and are just trying to get more followers or something, trust me I've been there, I used to just comment for the advertising, now I realize how that might hurt the bloggers feelings. If you really need to advertise then start with some relevance like; "Wow cool post! Love your hair! If you get the chance would you like to check out my blog?" Something like that :)

-Follow other blogs, I think I follow about 100+ I could be wrong though :)

-Letting another blogger do a guest post on your blog or you guest-posting on theirs can help to advertise your blog and theirs too!

When I was born in a minivan on the highway and as soon as I was taken to the hospital, there wasn't anything they needed to do, my doctor who delivered me was my dad (And he isn't even a real doctor :)<3 and the people at the hospital asked my dad if they could call the news (Like literal TV) But my dad said no. The doctor said babies aren't normally born in cars :)
6. I hate sharks, I'm sorry but I hate them so much that I'm scared of them, we went to an aquarium in 2010 and it was so scary! I also don't like underwater type of stuff unless they are turtles or sea horses!
7. One time I tried to flip in our pool and I bunked my head so hard that I thought I cracked my skull or something :)

1. I'm an Introvert! I'm very shy, and won't talk to someone unless there is something I need to say, beating around the bush is weird...I'm working very very hard on it. I'm also very self conscious but I'm working on that too!
2. I hate Copyrighted things unless it's fan art or fan fiction!
3. I kinda hate movies with a lot of mush in them, I still don't know how I feel about that type of stuff yet, and I'm 15! 
4. Romantic real life stuff isn't really my thing, I get super scared whenever I attempt to think about it and my hands start to hurt. Anime and fiction romances are totally not the case :) 
5. I knew a boy when I was 8 who was 7 and had a crush on me for some reason, he tried to kiss me and stuff and wouldn't leave me alone, his brothers and my brothers protected me though :) I mean we were at his house for only about a week! 
6. one of my little brothers when he was really little wanted to marry me for the LONGEST time! He didn't quite understand that siblings CANNOT be married to each other :) He's grown out of that now :)
7. I more tomboyish than girly, that's what happens when you have 3 older brothers and 4 younger brothers, I love anything Camo (I literally squeal when I see something camo anywhere!) I love playing light saber battles, I like dirt bikes, and stuff like that :)
8. I was SUPER obsessed with Tangled in 2011, I still am but not as crazy as I was when I was 10 :)
9. I can do a pretty decent cartwheel, I'm hoping to start learning gymnastics sometime this year.
10. I DO NOT like coconut unless it's coconut chicken or coconut shrimp.

Happy Leap Year 2016! +100 post!

Hey guys! so wow it's the leap year again! Here is a little picture I did on the computer's paint :)

Well This is the last time till 2020! I'll be 19 by then! Exciting and a bit scary if you know what I mean :)

What I recently bought :) +30% off some star wars items!

So I'd been saving my money and stuff and then I get an email from http://www.heruniverse.com/ and it said some star wars clothing items were 30% off! I was; "Hey Emma! We need to take advantage of this!" So we scraped together some cash and splurged and bought two Ahsoka Tano hoodie/tunics. one for each of us :)
The usual price was $40 bucks each but since it was on sale it was $34 (plus tax and shipping) which is a purty good deal for us since we were trying to figure out how and when we'd be able to get them.
So yeah I think the sale is open till 2/25-2/28. So if you want some cool (and a bit limited) star wars girl clothing merch then hurry! (btw-when we bought our Ahsoka tunics the only size left was a 16)

and who knows..I might use this for a Halloween costume this year..It'd make the costume planning way more easier than last year's..And I love Ahsoka! So yeah..Who knows..
They also have a cute Sabine wren (from star wars rebels <3) tunic/hoodie, for young girls and adults. It's very cute but my sister and I never cared for her character for some reason..we actually kind of hate her..unless she does a great thing, but until then my sister and I will keep on pretending to plan out her death :D

Animals I've been loving recently :)

Time for an animal post!!!! I love animals! (don't we all? :) I thought I'd talk to you about all my recent favorite animals!
(these aren't in any order necessarily :)

1.  Sea Turtles. Agh!!!! They're so cute!!! they remind me of bigger ladybugs :) When I was little my dad would find turtles from the park when he'd be out walking and would bring them home for us to play with for a day or two before he'd return them home. (Last time I saw one around here was in our backyard which out in the country...but maybe he came from the lake that's close by..I don't know :)   
2. Wolves!!!!! I love wolves so much even if they're dangerous and wild but I love them so much! We have coyotes here where I live but I've never seen one yet even though late at night I have close calls with them :)  They're so beautiful and majestic! Even though their howls are kind blood chilling :)   
3. Tigers! They are beautiful, scary, majestic, dangerous, smart and so cool!..That sounded a bit weird :)  
4. Parrots! They are so beautiful! One time about six years ago, my family and I went to Tennessee to a cool place called Parrot Mountain and it was full of parrots, we got to feed them and one of spoke in Spanish! That place was so so cool! I'd love to go again sometime!  
5. Foxes! They are so little and cute and red! (sometimes :) They make cute little sounds too! :)  
6. Pandas!!!! They are so cute and big, and are like little dumplings :)  
7. Lynxes, cheetahs, and black panthers.                                                                                   
8.  Chameleons!                                                                                                               
9. Chickens! :)                                                                                                 
10. Margay cats are pretty cute!

12. Iguanas! I saw a lot of these in mexico about eight years ago!
